This was a great celebration for the school and a chance for all of the students to meet Bishop Karol for the first time. Afterwards Bishop Karol joined invited guests for morning tea, before visiting some of the Junior Primary classrooms. The Tenison Woods Centre is designed to be multi-purpose, with a focus on STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths). Visual Arts lessons currently occur in one half each week, and the other side, which has a commercial kitchen, is used for Food Technology lessons. The whole room is also opened up for larger events and hub group activities. The students loved getting to meet Bishop Karol and sharing their learning with him as the school had a great celebration.
