Olympian Alexander Hill visits St Albert's Loxton

25.08.16

There was shock and unbridled excitement when old scholar Olympian, Alexander Hill paid a surprise visit to St Albert's School today! Alexander wanted to personally thank the Year 4/5 class for their messages of support in the lead up to the Rio Olympics. After picking up their collective jaws from the table, our students asked Alexander some excellent questions around his experience of representing his country and his home town. It was then time for a whole school photo where Alexander was soon mobbed and signed anything that would hold the mark of a texta or pencil (including the odd wrist!). Thank you for visiting us today, Alexander. You were gracious, humble and generous with your time. You represent the very best in all of us; we are incredibly proud.
