Jubilarian Celebration in Port Lincoln

On 1 June Catholic Education in the Diocese of Port Pirie, acknowledged, honoured and thanked nine staff members from St Joseph’s School, Port Lincoln, for their twenty five years or more service to Catholic Education.

In the presence of Bishop Greg O’Kelly SJ, representatives from the Sisters of St Joseph, local priests from the Eyre Peninsula region, invited guests, and family and friends, there was a celebration of the Eucharist and the Jubilarian Dinner held to mark the occasion.  During the dinner proceedings Sr Catherine Clark, a past principal of St Joseph’s School who appointed many of the Jubilarians to positions at St Joseph’s School,  gave the Peter Cibich Tribute to Ministry in Catholic Education address.  The nine Jubilarians: Andrew, Anne, Jane, Karen, Kym, Kym, Rosemary, Scott, Tara, have provided 298 combined years of service to the Catholic education community and were duly honoured and thanked for their dedication and commitment.
